Synerjob

On February 28, 2013 HRH Prince Philippe met the members of the Synerjob vzw at the Brussels Occupation Reference Center for construction in Anderlecht. He has had a meeting with the leading civil servants of the Belgian public services for job placement and vocational training on youth unemployment. He has met students and job seekers from the different regions of the country.

The members of the Synerjob vzw have given Prince Filip an explanation of the youth unemployment in their region and the challenges this brings to this specific public.

Fons Leroy, chairman of the non-profit organization Synerjob and Managing Director & nbsp; of the VDAB, Marie-Kristine Vanbockestal, Administrator-General of Le Forem, Grory Chapelle, Director General of ACTIRIS, Yves Bastaerts, Deputy Director General of Actiris, Michel Peffer, Managing Director of BRUXELLES FORMATION and Robert Nelles, Managing Director of the ADG, agree on the need to offer future prospects to Belgian youth on the economic, social and educational level. That is why each region has specific measures to combat youth unemployment. This goes from the Youth Guarantee in Brussels, about personal guidance in Wallonia & euml; and the German-speaking community, to Werkinlevingsprojecten in Vlaanderen

Helping young people to work is a priority in each of the regions where everything is done to succeed in this approach. Prince Filip then got acquainted with students in training and job seekers from the various regions of the country.
